PROKARATE KATWIJK 29/10/2022
What a great day for the real Full Contact Martial Arts in the Netherlands. The 1st ever stand-alone Prokarate event on Kyokushin Karate rules. Mma, Kenpokai, Shidokan, Ashihara, Kyokushin and Kickboxing fighters from the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italia, Germany and Iran fighting with great respect in the ring. First some kids and junior warm-up fights, then senior beginners, senior advanced and after that 4 PRO fights between champions.

Kids/Juniors:
The kids fights started with Jiro Senol son of WKKO fighter Cem Senol. After that there were many more kids and junior fights and all of them with great spirit and respect. Fighting hard with the real Budo spirit in 2x1 minutes rounds. WFCA Hans Loeffen gave them the deserved awards after each fight. Special respect for Osaka fighter Valery.
Adults beginners and advanced:
In this division there were super fights with great techniques and spirit. And great fights between: Rattu VS Vlietstra, Wiedijk and De Jong, Ouwens and Kerstering and special Mimouni VS Noort. My deep respect for Pascal Noort giving a real show. Also all other adults fights were good and hard. All 3x2 minutes rounds.
PRO Division:
In the Pro-division there were 4 fights, 2 of them title fights. Very high level fights with techniques and tactics on the highest level. One of the best events i myself have seen. Stas Romanov the Viking against Cem Senol w for the heavyweight title, 5x2 minutes rounds of iron-hard fighting, taking the fighting and coaching recourses to the limit. Behzadkazri w against Villani fighting a non-title match, the same for Nicu w against Pol Salguero. Two high level matches of 5x2 minutes. And then one of the best Kyokushin fights ever. What a great lightweight PRO title fight of Floris Hoek w against Juan Carlos, leaving a memory in my mind, being witness and coach at this fight. A very very special ending of this event.
