We are proud to introduce a new Dojo and a new Master from the USA into the WKKO. Hanshi Bob Morton has ranks in Isshin Ryu, Shorin Ryu, Shito Ryu, Tetsuken Ryu Karate and also in Jujutsu. For this work and these styles he will work as a Hanshi 8th Dan Kenpokai into our organization. His Dojo is in Rhode Island USA East Providence. By Sensei Jason Creel 25 years ago this month, I began teaching on my own; when I first began martial arts training in 1994, I never once thought I'd be a teacher. My first Kenpo instructor required his brown belts to be assistant instructors, and looking back, I'm incredibly grateful for this; it opened a door to a much greater purpose within my life and heart. Since then, I have obsessed over the mission of providing my students with the very best instruction, training and guidance that I can. And that mission has both required and encouraged MUCH evolution of what I teach and how I teach it. To my students - THANK YOU for allowing my the privilege and honor of being your teacher. To my teachers, past and present - THANK YOU for your knowledge, your faith and your patience. To my mentor, Dr. Dave Crouch - you are the singular most-influential individual within my journey, and I will always honor you.   |
